Welcome to BagelHosting. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BagelHosting's free Minecraft server hosting service (the "Service"), operated in connection with our control panel at panel.bagelhosting.net. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

BagelHosting provides a free-tier Minecraft server plan including 4GB RAM, 2 CPU cores, and 12GB SSD storage, subject to availability and fair-use limits described below. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Host or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (including unauthorized copies of copyrighted game assets);
  • Run cryptocurrency mining, botnets, proxies, or any workload unrelated to Minecraft server hosting;
  • Attempt to circumvent resource limits, abuse shared infrastructure, or disrupt other users' servers;
  • Launch attacks against BagelHosting or third-party systems, including DDoS, port scanning, or unauthorized penetration testing;
  • Harass, defraud, or impersonate other users or BagelHosting staff.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any server found in violation of these Terms without prior notice.

4. Free Plan Limits & Fair Use

The free plan (4GB RAM / 2 CPU cores / 12GB SSD) is provided on a best-effort, shared-resource basis. Servers that are idle for extended periods may be paused to free up capacity for active users. We may introduce reasonable fair-use limits (such as CPU throttling during peak load) to keep the Service available to everyone.

5. Backups & Data Loss

While we perform daily automatic backups as a courtesy, BagelHosting does not guarantee against data loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any world files, configurations, or content you cannot afford to lose.

6. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or server at our discretion, including for Terms violations, extended inactivity, or abuse of shared resources. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to uptime, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BagelHosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data or in-game content.

9. Third-Party Content & Trademarks

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. BagelHosting is an independent hosting provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang or Microsoft.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
